Bee Underground began not as a business plan, but as a personal turning point. After we lost our grandmother and father in 2021, and our mother in 2023, I returned to our family’s farm in McDonough, GA carrying a heart cracked by loss, and a restless need to do more — to make something good in a world that felt like it was unraveling. In searching for purpose, the pieces began to align. The bees showed me where to begin.
What started with a single idea became a mission to protect pollinators using smart, affordable, open-source tools — designed not for industry, but for small-scale beekeepers.
We exist because collapse is already happening. And we believe that if the hive is in danger, we don’t just treat the symptoms — we innovate from the ground up.
We give the bees a fighting chance — and maybe ourselves, too.
